Security is mostly a superstition. It does not exist in nature, nor do the children of men as a whole experience it. Avoiding danger is no safer in the long run than outright exposure. Life is either a daring adventure, or nothing.

We've all heard about an illness in central Africa called sleeping sickness. What we should also know is that a similar disease exists that attacks the soul. It's very dangerous because the early stages often go unnoticed. At the first sign of indifference or lack of enthusiasm, take note! That only preventive against this disease is the realization that the soul suffers, suffers greatly, when we force it to live superficially. The soul loves all things beautiful and deep.

Meet me at the corner, and I'll whisper my dreams into your ear, we'll laugh at the jokes life plays on us, and we'll let each know that it's just a little while longer, till we find the road that doesn't have a bad ending.

I believe out of all the things in the world, more then money, then fame, more then success, or even more then helping the less fortunate. I believe that the greatest purpose is to be loved, and to love, and that sole reason, is what makes the rest of this life worth living. This I truly believe.

“Pitiful is the person who is afraid of taking risks. Perhaps this person will never be disappointed or disillusioned; perhaps she won't suffer the way people do when they have a dream to follow. But when the person looks back-she will hear her heart”
Paulo Coelho

The world needs dreamers and the world needs doers. But above all, the world needs dreamers who do. ~Sarah Ban Breathnach, Simple Abundance: A Daybook of Comfort and Joy, 1996

Still, courage, my friend.

Still, all is not lost and you are not yet done.

Still, there are fires to burn in the darkness and light to cast amongst the shadows.

Still, there are moments that must be taken, fighting and spitting to the ground.

Still, nothing has killed us yet.

Still, the sky smiles on the brave.

Still, have the strength to try and hold the sun in the palm of your hand, once more.

Still, ever burning.

Still, the most beautiful things come from beneath the ground.

Still, the light is cast from the darkest of places.

Still, we labour on under the cover of stars.

Still, we know the truth rides high in our chests.

Still, the world has yet to end, no matter how hard any of us try.

Still.

Until we are still.
